Ingredients

  • 1 lb 93% lean ground turkey
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns, for serving

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add the ground turkey, beaten egg, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Using your hands, gently mix all ingredients until just combined. Do not overwork the meat.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a 1/2-inch-thick patty. Make a slight indentation in the center.
  • Heat a tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat or preheat a grill to medium-high. Cook patties for 5-7 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through to 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the burgers rest for 5 minutes, then serve on hamburger buns with desired toppings.

Notes

Shape patties in advance and refrigerate for up to 24 hours for easy meal prep.
Use hamburger buns and add toppings like lettuce, tomato, or avocado for a complete meal.
If using regular Worcestershire sauce, ensure it’s a non-alcoholic version to meet dietary restrictions.
