About Eatyoom & Alicia Monroe
Hi, I am Alicia Monroe, the recipe developer, food stylist, photographer, and everyday cook behind Eatyoom.
Eatyoom is a healthy recipe blog created for busy home cooks across the United States and Canada. Here, I share wholesome, colorful recipes that fit real life: quick breakfasts, high-protein meals, simple dinners, meal prep, snacks, and better-for-you desserts.
The goal is simple: to make healthy cooking feel practical, flavorful, and realistic, not complicated, restrictive, or boring.
Eatyoom officially launched on May 7, 2026, and it has grown from a personal collection of kitchen notes into a place where I share the recipes I create, style, photograph, and refine for everyday home cooks.

My Story
Eatyoom started from a very personal place.
When my husband decided to take his fitness routine more seriously, he began looking for meals that were higher in protein, balanced, and easy to prepare. But many of the healthy or high-protein recipes we found felt too complicated, too plain, too expensive, or too hard to repeat during a normal week.
I wanted to help him stay consistent without making food feel like a chore.
So I started cooking simple, nourishing meals at home: quick breakfasts, protein-rich bowls, easy chicken dinners, healthy snacks, and lighter versions of the comfort foods we already enjoyed.
At first, it was just for us. I would write down what worked in a notebook: how much Greek yogurt made a breakfast bowl creamier, how to keep chicken from drying out, which pantry spices made vegetables taste better, or how to turn oats, eggs, beans, fruit, and simple sauces into meals we actually looked forward to eating.
What began as a way to support someone I love slowly became a deeper passion for recipe creation.
I started paying closer attention to ingredient amounts, cooking times, serving sizes, texture, and the small adjustments that make a recipe easier to repeat.
Those kitchen notes became the foundation of Eatyoom, which I officially launched on May 7, 2026.
Today, I create recipes for people who want healthy meals that feel balanced, flavorful, and realistic for busy days, whether they are cooking for themselves, their family, or someone they love.

How I Create My Recipes
Every recipe starts with a real cooking need.
Sometimes it is a breakfast that needs to be ready fast. Sometimes it is a dinner that should be filling without feeling heavy. Sometimes it is a snack that works before or after training. And sometimes it is simply a healthier version of something comforting.
When I create a recipe, I focus on the details that matter most at home:
- Are the ingredients easy to find?
- Are the instructions clear?
- Does the texture work?
- Is the timing realistic?
- Are the servings and recipe card consistent?
- Can a busy home cook actually make this again?
Before publishing, I review the ingredient quantities, preparation steps, cooking time, serving size, FAQ, recipe card, and nutrition notes so the information stays consistent.
I also style and photograph the finished dish so readers can see what the recipe should look like before making it.
Meet Alicia

I am a home cook, recipe developer, food stylist, photographer, and founder of Eatyoom.
My cooking style is practical, colorful, and focused on balance. I love recipes that use familiar ingredients in a fresh way: Greek yogurt in breakfasts and sauces, oats in snacks and baked recipes, lean proteins in easy dinners, fresh fruit in desserts, and simple homemade sauces that make vegetables more exciting.
I am not a registered dietitian, doctor, or medical professional. I share recipes from the perspective of a home cook and recipe creator. Any nutrition information on Eatyoom is an estimate and may vary depending on ingredients, brands, portions, and substitutions.
